Care Rooted in Connection
Hi, my name is Sammy, and I’m happy you’ve found your way here. I grew up on beautiful Vancouver Island and feel grateful to have spent my whole life calling it home. Helping people feel supported, cared for, and empowered during important moments in their life has always been close to my heart. My passion for caregiving and helping others has led me to combine many years of support work experience with my training as a doula.
My experience has equipped me to provide compassionate care, knowledge, and encouragement during one of life’s most beautiful adventures. I believe every individual and family deserves support that is personalized to their unique needs and circumstances.
With a wide range of training, I am able to support clients as a fertility doula, birth doula, postpartum doula, and pregnancy and infancy loss doula. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive space where you feel heard, empowered and cared for every step of the way.
Education, Experience, and Approach.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Psychology and an Addictions Certificate, which have provided me with a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, mental health, and person-centred care. I am also continuing my education through Doula School Canada to expand my knowledge in doula care and enhance the support I can offer to individuals and families. As a compassionate and dedicated caregiver, I have experience supporting children and adults in both home and community settings. Through my work as a Community Support Worker (CSW) and nanny, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adults, and families with compassionate, individualized care. From personal care and meal preparation to community engagement and emotional support, I strive to create meaningful connections and nurturing environments where people feel safe, valued, and empowered to flourish.
